With a background in large scale refurbishment in the brewery, restaurant and hotel industry, we now work with a number of Interior Designers and Fit-Out Companies requiring one or more of the following:
- New furniture finished by us in your choice of paint, stains and upholstery.
- Specific sourcing of antique or vintage furniture.
- Refurbishment of existing furniture.
We can cater for Cafes, Coffee Shops, Tea Rooms, Farm Shops, Bed & Breakfasts, Guest Houses, Self Catering Apartments, Holiday Lets, Social Clubs etc.
We can meet with you on site to discuss the space, the intended look/style you wish to create and the overall budget. From characterful antiques to new modern furniture. A variety of options can be discussed and developed. Nowadays it's very popular to combine both old and new, for a contemporary feel with a twist.
New chairs are ordered from our suppliers as necessary. Tables can also be ordered in or made bespoke depending on the individual project. The furniture comes to us raw (with no finish applied), ready to be painted, lacquered or wax polished, ideal for creating a truly bespoke colour and design scheme, not always possible when buying already finished items. With new furniture, there's an ever growing range of styles to choose from. However, not all new furniture has a contemporary look to it, many antique styles have been very well replicated and reproduced, particularly useful if you want an 'antique look' but require a large amount of the same item on a tight deadline.
Depending on the age of the building and the style of the interior you wish to create, genuine antique furniture may be better suited. We have a good network of reliable antique dealers and suppliers. When it comes to restoration, generally we like to retain as much of the items original historic finish as possible, with a sympathetic, light restoration. However, when the original finish is very worn or marked it may be necessary for a complete refinish.
We will carry out any necessary work on-site in our workshop, whether it be finishing new furniture or restoring antiques, before delivery to you by an agreed deadline.
